Changes Planned for NetSuite’s Outlook Bundle

If you have the Outlook Bundle for NetSuite installed as part of your NetSuite implementation, changes are coming to NetSuite support that will affect you. Below is the announcement sent by NetSuite to their install base about this upcoming change.

What is Changing?

Oracle will not support the NetSuite for Outlook bundle after June 30, 2019. If you have the NetSuite for Outlook bundle installed in your implementation of NetSuite, you can continue to use it, but there won’t be any issue fixes or updates after the end of support. However, critical issues (U1-U3) will be addressed up until June 30, 2019. All other issues with lower severity will be closed.

Note: All your data synced with the NetSuite for Outlook bundle will continue to be available without any interruption.

Recommended Actions

If you have the NetSuite for Outlook bundle installed in your implementation of NetSuite, NetSuite has endorsed Celigo CloudExtend Outlook for NetSuite as a replacement for NetSuite for Outlook bundle. Celigo CloudExtend supports Microsoft Office 365, OWA, iOS, and Android, and can be used on Mac or PC.

Prepare for the Deprecation

We encourage you not to wait until the last moment to make this transition and instead plan to switch to Celigo CloudExtend Outlook for NetSuite.
