As an AWS System Development Engineer-1, you will design and develop backend features for our integrator.io platform using cutting-edge AWS technologies. Your role will focus on creating scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that enable seamless integrations between business applications like NetSuite, Salesforce.com, Google, Amazon, Magento, and more.
What would you do if hired?
- Design & Development:
- Architect, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and JavaScript.
- Leverage AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFormation) to build scalable solutions.
- System Optimization:
- Enhance application performance, reliability, and security through continuous monitoring and optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments.
- DevOps & Automation:
- Develop and integrate automated deployment pipelines using CI/CD best practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth system integrations and continuous delivery.
- Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work alongside product, operations, and design teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Maintain clear documentation of system architectures, code, and development processes.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest AWS technologies and industry trends, applying new knowledge to improve our platform.
Required Skills
- Experience:
- 3-7 years of hands-on experience in software development, preferably in a cloud-based or product-driven environment.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong experience in JavaScript and Node.js development.
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Core Competencies:
- Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
