At Celigo, we believe integration should empower — not exhaust — innovation. As a modern Integration and Automation Platform (iPaaS), we’re on a mission to simplify how companies integrate, automate, and optimize processes. Powered by game-changing technology like runtime AI and prebuilt, mission-critical integrations, Celigo is redefining how businesses connect their world.
Celigo is looking for a Senior Product Data Manager to own how product data works who will own the foundations that make product analytics possible — event taxonomy, tracking standards, metric definitions, and data quality.
This is not a Product Manager role and not a reporting/analytics role. You will not own feature roadmaps, dashboards, or business analysis.
You will operate as the data backbone for Product — working between Product, Data Engineering, UX Research, and Analytics to ensure product data is reliable, usable, and scalable. Product leadership defines what success looks like (OKRs/KPIs). Your job is to ensure that success can be accurately measured, consistently defined, and continuously trusted across the organization.
What would you do if hired?
- Own product data definitions, event taxonomy, and tracking standards across the Product organization
- You are expected to-identify gaps in how data works today, define how it should work and build the systems and standards to get there
- Ensure product usage data is correctly instrumented, validated, and consistently implemented
- Define and enforce data governance practices to maintain a single source of truth
- Enable Product Managers to measure success by providing clear frameworks, standards, and guardrails for metrics and tracking
- Ensure product OKRs and KPIs are measurable, consistently defined, and continuously monitored
- Build and maintain reliable datasets, reports, and dashboards for ongoing product performance tracking
- Write and validate SQL to troubleshoot discrepancies, verify data correctness, and support product decision-making
- Act as the point of accountability for product data quality, definitions, and trust
- Partner with the Data Engineering team to identify gaps in Snowflake and ensure product data is modeled correctly (without owning pipelines)
- Own and maintain product analytics tooling (e.g., Pendo), ensuring it supports consistent tracking and data access
- Define scalable processes for instrumentation, validation, and data change management
- Identify systemic issues in data quality or tracking and drive long-term fixes, not one-off patches
- Proactively define and execute a roadmap to improve product data maturity across the organization
Who are we looking for?
Education and Experience
- 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS across Product Analytics, Product Operations, Data Engineering, or similar roles
- Strong understanding of how product data should be structured, tracked, and governed
- Demonstrated experience designing event taxonomies, tracking plans, and metric definitions
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, validation, and data reasoning in modern warehouses (Snowflake preferred)
- Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Pendo, Amplitude, Mixpanel)
- Experience building or improving data quality frameworks, validation processes, and documentation
- Experience influencing Product and Engineering teams without formal authority
- Experience using AI tools to improve data workflows, with strong judgment around validation and correctness
Skills & Abilities
- Proven ability to independently diagnose data issues and ensure correctness across systems
- Ability to operate as a senior IC — owning ambiguous problems end-to-end without direction
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical systems and product decisions
- Thinks in systems, not dashboards
- Cares about data correctness more than data volume
- Prefers fixing root causes over patching symptoms
- Comfortable challenging assumptions and driving alignment
- Operates independently and doesn't wait for instructions
- Builds processes that scale, not workflows that depend on one person
- Pragmatic — understands tradeoffs and moves forward without perfection
