The Senior Project Manager leads and elevates the successful implementation of the Celigo product for customers. They are responsible for leading cross-functional teams, orchestrating complex project activities, and ensuring that customer projects are not only delivered on time, within budget, and by customer requirements but also surpassing their expectations. They take on more strategic customers and complex project scopes. The wealth of experience in project management, handling multiple priorities, and exceptional stakeholder management skills will be crucial to drive the successful adoption of the Celigo product for our customers.

What would you do if hired:

Project Planning and Strategy:

  • Partners with Sales and Customer Success to execute a seamless handoff from sale to delivery and to ensure the project team has the details required.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develops comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
  • Identifies and manages potential risks and issues, and develops detailed mitigation strategies.

Project Execution and Monitoring:

  • Coordinates and leads cross-functional project teams, assigning tasks and ensuring their timely completion.
  • Monitors project progress, tracks milestones and identifies and addresses any deviations from the plan.
  • Conducts regular status meetings with team members and stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
  • Manages changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring proper documentation and stakeholder agreement.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ensures effective and timely communication of project updates, milestones, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Proactively addresses stakeholder concerns and manages expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, project notes, budget burndown reports, etc. 
  • Prepares regular progress reports and project steering committee updates for stakeholders and management.

Administrative:

  • Documents lessons learned and best practices to improve future implementations.
  • Ensures timely and consistent entry of project time by team members, and ensures prompt approval of project time entries by coordinating with the project team.
  • Assists with resource scheduling, managing across multiple projects and priorities.
  • Mentors and supports other Project Managers on the team, guiding them on best practices and how to handle challenging customer situations.

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience working with external clients and handling a variety of different projects simultaneously; capability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage challenging customers' complex project scopes and challenging timelines.
  • Experience mentoring peers on best practices, lessons learned, and customer experience.
