We’re excited to announce two new faces that have joined the Celigo family: VP of Sales, Chris Hardeman, and a new VP of Strategy and Operations, Mark Simon. Hardeman and Simon have joined to scale the company operationally as it provides next-generation integration solutions to over 1600 customers worldwide.
Over the past decade, the number of applications business users could leverage to do their work has exploded from 150 in 2007 to over 7000 today. Celigo makes it easy for these organizations to map ubiquitous applications together and eliminate outdated processes, such as manually importing data from one application to another. While Microsoft, Salesforce and other leading organizations offer iPaas as built-in parts of their solutions, many of the applications that exist on the market today only offer the most basic integration capabilities, or none at all.
“As organizations strive to become more connected and efficient, it’s clear iPaaS will play a critical role,” said Jan Arendtsz, CEO of Celigo. “We welcome Chris and Mark to the Celigo team and are excited to continue our growth trajectory under their leadership, especially as we look for creative ways to expand and broaden the capabilities of our next-generation integration solutions.”
Chris Hardeman, VP of Sales
As we enter our next stage of growth and beyond, Chris will be focused on scaling our sales organization.
During a career spanning 28 years, Chris has been focused on sales and sales leadership roles with a variety of companies. Back in the mid 90’s, he helped launch one of the area’s first outsourced high-tech call centers. After a few successful years in this role, he moved on to Newark Electronics, a Broadline Electronics Distributor. While there, Chris’ office in Palo Alto was the top producing location in North America. Chris joined WebEx in early 2000, where he spent 11 years leading several top performing sales teams. Most recently, he was VP of Sales for Act-On, a leading marketing automation SaaS company, where he spent seven years helping the company grow from $2M to $50M in ARR.
