The Celigo Yahoo! Store Integration is a subscription based module which provides a real-time integration with Yahoo! Merchant Solutions (formerly called Yahoo! Stores). Powered by the Celigo Integrator, the solution runs entirely within your NetSuite account—in full accord with NetSuite’s one system, no limits philosophy.

Business Problems Solved

Using the Yahoo! Store integration, a Yahoo! store can be used as an external web store that integrates seamlessly with the NetSuite back office.

  • Sales Order Import:  Controlled from your Yahoo! Store Manager, orders can be imported as they occur in real-time or on a batch basis. Orders are associated with a customer in NetSuite; new customers are created on the fly if they don't already exist in NetSuite.
  • Real Time Inventory Lookup:  As shoppers add items to their carts, NetSuite inventory levels are looked up and validated for adequate quantities.

Configuration & Mapping

The underlying Celigo Integrator allows complete control over the configuration and mapping of this integration from within your NetSuite account via a SuiteBundle based custom dashboard and control panel. 

The mapping of data fields from the external system to the target NetSuite record type is achieved through a user interface--implemented directly within NetSuite. This includes the ability to map custom fields, hierarchical data types, etc. This interface allows business users to make changes to the integration without having to make changes to the code. For example, if Yahoo! introduces a new field on the sales order, this field can easily be mapped to a standard or custom field in the NetSuite sales order record type with a few clicks.

Monitoring

Monitor every aspect of this integration from the context of a single NetSuite dashboard—one page offering complete visibility including custom portlets, KPIs, meters, and graphs. Integration activity is logged directly inside NetSuite with the ability to specify summary or detailed logging. The summary logging occurs at the job level, capturing the details of the import/export. The detailed logging occurs at the record level, and includes the ability to click through from the summary.

No time to keep track of everything?  Enable email alerts to watch for integration failures and checkpoints, or schedule a report to keep track of your integration’s throughput. With a few clicks, administrators can configure these alerts to suit the needs of their enterprise.

On-Demand (or On-Premise)

This module is designed primarily to run as a Celigo hosted service. Celigo will monitor and support this module to ensure that it runs uninterrupted, including ensuring that it will always be compatible with NetSuite updates. When NetSuite makes an update, your module will be automatically updated as well (if needed) to fix any problems in a proactive manner.  Updates also occur immediately upon discovery of a problem. Additionally, the subscription entitles you to receive the latest version of this module automatically when it becomes available, ensuring that you benefit from new and improved features.

Given that NetSuite is an on-demand application where updates to the application can occur on a frequent basis, we believe that having an integration model that is in alignment with NetSuite allows us to provide the best options for uninterrupted service. However, with a few simple configuration changes, we can also install this module to run on-premise on your own servers.
