Celigo's external web store to NetSuite integration solution is flexible enough to support any type of external web store, from third-party e-commerce products to home grown e-commerce solutions, and satisfy the unique requirements of your business processes.

Depending on the specifics of your business processes, the integration may differ, although the general thesis is as follows:

1. Import Sales Orders into NetSuite from Web Store: The ultimate objective of this integration is to import sales orders. A specific customer and specific items are referenced from the order that point to valid NetSuite records. Likewise, shipping items, tax items, locations, etc, are also resolved to the correct values in NetSuite.
2. Sync Items between both systems: This is a crucial part of the integration since the line items of the sales order must reference a valid NetSuite item id. This is typically achieved by exporting items from NetSuite into the web store. NetSuite is the System of Record (SOR), and therefore whenever an item is created or updated in NetSuite, it's pushed to the web store. The NetSuite id is stored in the item record in the web store, or the web store item id is stored in NetSuite as the external id.
3. Sync Customers between both systems: This is typically accomplished by creating the new customer in NetSuite where the customer id in the web store is stored as the external id in NetSuite. Additionally, given that new customers can be created in NetSuite directly through non-web orders, these customers are synched back to the web store.
