Sync Customers

When an account is created or updated in Salesforce, the information is automatically sent from Salesforce to NetSuite, enabling downstream organizations to use the latest customer information.

Sync Products and Pricing

Product and pricing updates are propagated instantly from NetSuite to Salesforce, providing the sales force with the most current and accurate product and pricing information. Price levels in NetSuite are converted into Salesforce Price Books, providing the sales force with several pricing options.

    • Instantaneous: Updates are made in real time, so the sales force always has the most up-to-date information and can use the latest product and pricing changes the moment they are issued.
    • Consistency: Product and pricing information comes from the same system for all departments to use, ensuring smooth and precise processing of opportunities, estimates, and orders.

Convert Opportunities to Estimates or Sales Orders

Estimates or sales orders can be created from Salesforce opportunities with the click of a button, enabling downstream organizations to act instantly on orders and eliminating the need to copy, print, or otherwise "walk" information to another department for data re-entry.

    • Sales Orders: The Create Sales Order button initiates an automated process that accurately creates a sales order in NetSuite using the Opportunity and Line Item information from Salesforce. Subsequent updates to the Opportunity can also be configured to update the NetSuite Sales Order - depending on its status.
    • Estimates: The Create Estimate button initiates an automated process that creates an accurate estimate in NetSuite using the Opportunity and Line Item information from Salesforce. Multiple estimates can be created from a single opportunity.

Back Office Visibility from within Salesforce

NetSuite FinancialsUsing the Celigo Salesforce-NetSuite Connector, the sales force will be able to monitor the processing details of an order as it moves through fulfillment and billing. Subsequent, related customer financial transactions, such as credits and refunds, can be monitored in real time, and the latest account financials are also accessible.

This extended visibility from Salesforce into NetSuite enables the sales force to better manage the entire customer relationship, beyond the original sale and increase profitability, customer satisfaction and customer retention.

When the following transactions are created, updated, or deleted in NetSuite, they are instantaneously updated in Salesforce:

    • Salesforce.com Account FinancialsEstimates: Updated in Salesforce as custom quote objects that can be easily viewed from the Account or Opportunity pages.
    • Sales Orders: Updated in Salesforce as custom sales order objects that can easily be viewed from the Account or Opportunity pages.
    • NetSuite Financials: Transactions such as Invoices, Payments, Cash Sales, Credit Memos, and Customer Refunds, are synched back to Salesforce as custom financial objects that can easily be viewed from the Account page.
Configuration Mapping

The business objects and data fields between NetSuite and Salesforce are mapped through a graphical user interface, which is implemented directly within NetSuite.

All NetSuite record types supported through the SuiteTalk interface are fully supported, as is the ability to map custom fields, hierarchical data types and other objects.  This interface enables business users to make changes to the integration without the help of a programmer. For example, if a new custom field is added to the sales order record type in NetSuite, it can then easily be mapped to a field in the corresponding Salesforce Opportunity record type from within the user interface.

Monitoring

Integration activity is logged directly inside NetSuite with the ability to specify summary or detailed logging. The
detailed logging occurs at the record level, and includes the ability to click through from the summary. A custom dashboard with portlets, KPIs, meters, and graphs are installed out-of-the-box.

Preconfigured alerts are provided through the standard NetSuite alert functionality. With a few clicks, administrators can configure the alerts to suit the needs of their enterprise.
