Order Import

When an order completes checkout in Yahoo it is immediately exported to the Celigo Yahoo integration. The first step to enabling this feature is enabling the real-time delivery of Yahoo orders to an external website. Once you have made this request with Yahoo support you will see the screen below. Celigo will meet with you over webconference and help you fill out the data below–please do not alter this page without contacting us first.

Once it is configured, the real-time order delivery feature will send the order’s data to our server so it can be transformed into a NetSuite sales order. Each Yahoo! order is mapped to a NetSuite sales order/cash sale using standard Celigo Integrator functionality. Out of the box, the following mappings will be installed in your account. Additional mappings can be added or removed at any time before (or after) your system is live.

Once a Yahoo order is converted into a NetSuite order the connector will search NetSuite for a NetSuite customer record whose email address matches the order’s Buyer Email address. If no customer record is found a new customer is created for this order, and we will populate the customer’s addresses and with the billing and shipping addresses found on the Yahoo order. If one customer with this email address is found the connector will update the customer’s name and addresses found on the sales order, and if multiple customers with the same email address are found we use the first customer in the list.

Also included with the Yahoo integration is a set of custom fields found on the Sales Order’s “custom” tab. These fields record the order’s ID in Yahoo, the order comments, and the variance fields.

After each order is imported into NetSuite, the connector will immediately pull the order out of NetSuite to compare calculated total fields with what was sent from Yahoo. These fields include Tax Total, Ship Total, and Order Total. If there is any difference between the values calculated by NetSuite and the values sent from Yahoo, the difference value will be stored in one of the variance custom fields below. These fields can be reported on in NetSuite on a periodic basis and adjusted with a journal entry (if variance values exist).
