The Yahoo! Small Business integration allows you to set a statewide sales tax for all orders imported from your Yahoo! store. The integration uses a custom record to identify which orders should be charged sales tax based on the shipping address of the incoming order. Celigo creates a mapping for each state you charge sales tax in, and you will need to configure the tax item we should use for these orders.
To set up these mappings go to Setup > Accounting > Tax Codes in NetSuite, find the tax item you wish to use for each state, and copy the Internal ID for that tax item. Please note that you should be using a tax code that charges a flat tax for all orders that are shipped to that state. In this instance, we will copy the value “138″ for California’s San Mateo County sales tax.
In another window, go to Setup > Customization > Record Types, and click the List link for the Yahoo! Tax Table custom record. For each record in the list, click Edit, and paste the Internal Id for this State’s tax item into the field named “Yahoo! Tax Code”.
Once all the mappings are configured, you need to refresh your integration’s caches to make these changes take effect.
Please click here if Internal Ids are not being displayed in your account.
