The Data Importer is a subscription based Integration-as-a-Service product for importing, updating, and deleting NetSuite records through CSV files. In contrast to NetSuite’s built in CSV import tool, the Data Importer supports all record types exposed via NetSuite’s SuiteTalk interface. This includes most transaction types and list types. Powered by the Celigo Integrator, the Data Importer runs entirely within your NetSuite account—in full accord with NetSuite’s one system philosophy.
The Data Importer can be used to map any CSV file to any SuiteTalk supported NetSuite record type. Some common use cases are
- Transaction Imports: Supports the ability to import, update, and delete Sales Orders, Invoices, Customer Payments, Time Bills, Inventory Adjustments, and much more.
- List Data Imports: Supports the ability to import/update/delete Jobs, Tax Items, Campaigns, and much more.
- Custom Business Logic: Supports the ability to inject custom business logic that can be executed before data is imported. When a CSV file represents more than just a simple data import, this feature can fill the gaps needed to keep your input processes fully automated.
