Installing CloudExtend Gmail

Installation Prerequisites

In order to move forward with setting up CloudExtend Gmail, the following prerequisites must be in place:

  • A Google Apps™ Administrator login with access to the Google Apps Dashboard
  • A willingness to create custom roles within NetSuite with Open ID Single Sign-on permissions granted to replace all standard roles to be used with CloudExtend Gmail (NetSuite requirement)

Installing CloudExtend Gmail

Step #1 – Preparing for the installation

Before you can begin the installation, you must first log out of NetSuite and Google Apps and restart your browser.

Step #2 – Setup CloudExtend Gmail from the Google Apps Marketplace

  1. Log in to Google Apps as an Administrator.
  2. Install CloudExtend Google Apps from Google Apps Marketplace. Alternatively, you may search for Celigo CloudExtend Google Apps for NetSuite from the Google Apps Marketplace.
  3. Click the Add it now button, provide your Google Apps credentials then click Sign In.
  4. On the Agree to terms page, click Terms of Service to view the terms of service for Gmail Sync for NetSuite, then click the I agree. Continue. button.
  5. On the Setup page, read the items that Gmail Sync for NetSuite requires access to and click the Grant data access button.

Updating the Bundle

When a new version is released, you may need to update the bundle to get the new features. To update your version, go to Setup > Customization > Install Bundle > List and click the Update button next to the Celigo CloudExtend Google Apps bundle. On the Preview Bundle Update screen, click Update Bundle to complete the process.
