Celigo is currently hiring for the following positions.

Solutions Architect

The Solutions Architect / Client Manager is a highly visible, strategic/tactical role that requires business acumen, technical creatively, and experience with web/on-demand services. It’s an ideal position to gain invaluable experience in different facets of an organization (service delivery, sales and business development, marketing, product management, etc).

We’re looking for someone who shares our beliefs and is willing to do what it takes for us to be successful. We currently have a very small consulting team, and this is a key hire for us since we're looking to build our team around this individual. We're also open to hiring a more experienced individual at a Director level.

At a very high level, we envision that you will have responsibilities in some of the following areas. We do realize these are wide ranging responsibilities, and envision the role will be more focused on specific areas in time.

  • Solutions Architect
    • Work independently, or as part of a team to utilize your industry experience and creativity in crafting solutions that address different types of opportunities.
    • Market and sell existing products/solutions from our portfolio.
  • Client Manager
    • We practice a very light project management methodology based on milestones. You will manage a small set of projects including coordination between the client, business analysts, and developers.
    • Eventually grow into owning a specific practice or vertical such as e-commerce.
  • Other
    • Develop and maintain marketing collateral, power point presentations, etc, for our services and solutions.
    • Be the voice of the customer internally, helping shape our products and how they are delivered.
    • Determine the optimal way to position products in the market.
    • Find new markets and verticals to expand our products and services to.

Ideal Candidate (Qualifications):

  • Must have at least five years of combined industry experience in at least one of the following areas: enterprise software implementation, project management, business development, or business process consulting.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems or other related disciplines. MBA is preferred.
  • A technical background is preferred but not necessary—we’re not looking for someone to code, but some who understands technology well, and can speak credibly on it at a high-level. Understanding of integration technologies such as SOA and Web Services is a bonus.
  • Prior experience with CRM/ERP systems is preferred.
  • Prior experience in On-Demand applications is a bonus.
  • Formal project management experience is a bonus. Experience in managing teams is a plus.
  • Prior experience/involvement in sales is preferred.
  • Must have experience working with external clients.
  • Must be creative. Must be passionate about building great products. We urge and empower our team to think big and bring their ideas to the table to make us a better company.
  • We like to see an overriding ambition and proactive nature, combined with the ability to inspire others.
  • Must enjoy working at a start-up, including having a start-up mind set, flexible with shifting priorities, and an attitude and passion for results.
  • Ability to handle a variety of different projects simultaneously, and capable of managing multiple deadlines. Ability to take direction and work independently.

Compensation:

  • Negotiable, based on skill and experience. We’re willing to offer significant equity in the company for the right candidate.

Java Developer

We're looking for a couple of highly talented junior developers who are either straight out of college or have one to two years of experience. Please note that this is a full-time position.

The ideal candidate for this position should be passionate about coding, designing applications, working directly with customers, willing to take the initiative, and exploring the vast number of open source technologies on the market. This position is an excellent starting point for almost any career in the high tech industry. Not only will you get to work in cutting edge technology, but as a member of a small team, you will be exposed to different facets of the business, and get to wear different hats.

Specifically, you will be doing most of your development in Java, with a focus on consuming Web Services, utilizing enterprise service bus (ESB) technologies, core development in Spring, web application development using established frameworks such as Struts and Spring MVC, etc.

Your job responsibilities will include building add-on products on top of the native web services and implementing custom projects to extend and integrate on-demand services with other enterprise applications.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Java.
  • Good understanding of object orientated methodologies and design patterns.
  • Experience with XML a plus.
  • Experience with Web Services a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft .NET is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills including task prioritization, time management, and risk identification and mitigation.
  • Ability to take the initiative, and thrive in a fast paced environment.
  • Thorough understanding of product/project workflow processes including requirements gathering and use cases, analysis & design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
